Local Firm Raises £2,000 for S.N.A.P.

Ryzex PLC, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, presented a cheque for £2000 towards S.N.A.P at 1pm on Friday 2nd February at St Nicholas' School. The cheque was presented to Lucy Kaile (aged 12), a pupil at the school.

S.N.A.P. is a registered charity (no.1109506) and is raising money for a much needed hydrotherapy pool for the children of St Nicholas' School in Chippenham. St Nicholas' School provides education and care for children with severe learning difficulties and is supported by patron Amanda Parr, the broadcaster and television presenter.

Ryzex organised a number of unique fundraising activities, including the development of its own Intranet-based auction site, which enabled staff to bid for donated items in a similar way to other well known online auction sites.
