System menu(s)

Configuring barcode types:

1)From the Terminal Emulation or Scanner Test Screen, either press the <FN L>, <Left Enter>, <T>, <2>, and <M> keys or the <FN L>, <Left Enter>, <2>, <4>, and <8> keys in sequence, or scan the following bar code to enter the Test and Service Main Menu. The <Left Enter> key is just under the <I/O> key. In the Menu System, the up and down cursor keys move between items, the left and right cursor keys change settings, the <Enter> key selects an item or moves to the next screen, and the <Esc> exits functions, unless otherwise indicated on the screen in use.

2) Enter Configuration menu. If Firmware Version 8.xx.xx is loaded, enter Device Management, cursor to <Disabled>, then cursor to and enter <OK>

3) Highlight the <Symbologies Menu> and press <enter>

4) Highlight the required symbology and press <enter>

5) Scroll to the left or right to enable the symbology.

6) Highlight <OK> and press <enter>.

7) Once all of the required symbologies are enabled press <esc> to return to the configuration menu.

8) Hit <Esc> twice, then enter <Yes> to save new configuration in RAM, then <Esc>, then enter <Yes> to Save configuration in Flash, then select <OK> when prompted to exit.

Configuring network\TE settings:

1) From the Terminal Emulation or Scanner Test Screen, either press the <FN L>, <Left Enter>, <T>, <2>, and <M> keys or the <FN L>, <Left Enter>, <2>, <4>, and <8> keys in sequence, or scan the following bar code to enter the Test and Service Main Menu. The <Left Enter> key is just under the <I/O> key. In the Menu System, the up and down cursor keys move between items, the left and right cursor keys change settings, the <Enter> key selects an item or moves to the next screen, and the <Esc> exits functions, unless otherwise indicated on the screen in use.

2) Enter Configuration menu. If Firmware Version 8.xx.xx is loaded, enter Device Management, cursor to “Disabled”, then cursor to and enter <OK>. (2). Enter Communication Menu, then Primary Network. Enable the installed radio with the right or left cursor key. Tab down and enter the appropriate IP address for your host or controller, depending upon whether TCP/IP or UDP (controller based system) Connectivity is loaded.

3) Enter the appropriate Terminal IP Address for your network. Cursor to and enter <OK>.

4) If the radio is IEEE 802.11b, cursor to and enter Radio, then enter the appropriate Network Name which equates to ESS-ID/Network Name. Cursor to and enter <OK>.

5) Hit <Esc> twice, then enter <Yes> to save new configuration in RAM, then <Esc>, then enter <Yes> to Save configuration in Flash, then enter <Cancel> when prompted to exit.
