Chippenham, Wiltshire - 26 June 2008: Ryzex, a leading mobile technology services company, has announced the extension of its service team to include a network of 2,500 specialist wireless engineers. The extended team will carry out a range of services designed to enable organisations across Europe to successfully roll out, deploy and manage wireless applications and will include WIPS (Wireless Intrusion Protection Services) and power management onsite health checks.

“Wireless security is becoming a key concern for organisations, particularly those within the retail sector,” explained Adrian Lawson, Business Development Director at Ryzex. “Our new network of engineers will enable us to help European organisations to easily, quickly and securely implement wireless solutions. Our WIPS will play a key role in meeting the increasing demand from organisations to carry out a thorough audit of their wireless network, by allowing us to highlight potential security risks and suggest improvements.”

“Another key area where our extended team of engineers will be able to support European organisations is mobile device power management. The importance of the management of wireless device batteries is often overlooked with expensive consequences,” continued Lawson. “A recent audit carried out with one of our customers across four of its sites, where over 200 wireless devices are in operation, revealed that the lost labour cost of batteries not lasting a full eight hour shift and therefore requiring the user to change the battery was nominal; more than £1,000 per device! Our Power Management offering will allow our wireless engineers to provide a number of services to help monitor the performance of their batteries, reducing downtime of devices and minimising the hidden cost of lost productivity. Our customers have enthusiastically embraced cost savings through Ryzex Power Management.”

The increased network of specialist engineers ensures that Ryzex’s Pan European customers will receive consistency in the level of support from Ryzex’s Consultancy Services team regardless of their location.

Toyota Tsusho Appoints Ryzex as a Denso Authorized Repair Centre

Chippenham, Wiltshire - 22 April 2008: Ryzex plc, a leading technology services company has been accredited by Toyota Tsusho ID Systems GmbH (TTID) as an Authorised Repair Centre for DENSO products. DENSO is a major manufacturer of data collection devices including barcode scanners and hand held terminals for which TTID is the exclusive European trading company. Both companies form part of the Toyota Group.

Under the terms of the agreement TTL will be providing Ryzex' customers with cost-effective airtime for mobile voice and data services and Ryzex will be providing TTL's customers with access to a range of rugged mobile computing devices, backed by Ryzex' technology lifecycle services.

Local Firm Raises £2,000 for S.N.A.P.

Ryzex PLC, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the local community, presented a cheque for £2000 towards S.N.A.P at 1pm on Friday 2nd February at St Nicholas' School. The cheque was presented to Lucy Kaile (aged 12), a pupil at the school.

S.N.A.P. is a registered charity (no.1109506) and is raising money for a much needed hydrotherapy pool for the children of St Nicholas' School in Chippenham. St Nicholas' School provides education and care for children with severe learning difficulties and is supported by patron Amanda Parr, the broadcaster and television presenter.

Ryzex organised a number of unique fundraising activities, including the development of its own Intranet-based auction site, which enabled staff to bid for donated items in a similar way to other well known online auction sites.

"I am proud of the Ryzex team members who participated in raising the donation, which the company was pleased to supplement." states Colin Hughes, managing director.
